After setting off from New York on 13th February in different directions, Queen Victoria on her maiden World Voyage & QE2 on her farewell World Voyage, the two Queens met again in Sydney at the weekend.Queen Victoria arrived in Sydney on Saturday and after the spending the night in port was joined by QE2 yesterday morning.
Last night flanked by hundreds of smaller ships & boats the two Queens left their berths for an historic Royal Rendezvous for the first & last time in Australian Waters. Queen Victoria & QE2 greeted each other near to Fort Denison with a 'Whistle Salute' which can be heard over 16km away.
